Art Appreciation

Interested in Art? Would you like to learn more about the art works on display at the Art Gallery of South Australia? Why not join fellow ARPA members each month.

There are two Art Appreciation groups who meet once a month for a one hour tour of the gallery. Topics are planned by the Gallery and presented by the knowledgeable group of volunteer Art Gallery tour guides. Each month features a different theme or area of the gallery. Occasionally the group may view a temporary Exhibition, which sometimes involves an Exhibition fee.
One group meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 10.15 for a 10.30, start in the SANTOS atrium. The second group meet near the bookshop on the second Thursday of the month at 12.15 for a 12.30 start. There are no tours in December or January.

Contact Cathy/Noel 8355 1554 for the Monday group, and Janet on 8235 0113 for the Thursday group.

New members are always welcome.
