Computer Group

The Computer Group is dedicated to helping its members learn about and enjoy the use of their laptops and tablets. The Group’s major objective is to promote and develop the use of computers and tablets for members of ARPA.

Our May 17 meeting will be held at ARPA, 4th floor, 25 Leigh Street, Adelaide and the June 21 meeting will be held at the Church of Christ Hall at 2 Danby Street, Torrensville.

The meeting is from 11.00am to 12.30pm with doors open at 10.00am for personal help with computer problems. Meetings take the form of workshops, demonstrations and/or presentations on various equipment, programs (apps) and maintenance requirements. Members and visitors are always welcome. There is also limited availability of one-to-one computer training in the ARPA office or in the home, at a very low cost.

All ARPA members wanting to learn more about personal computers and computing, please come along to meet others with similar interests.

In addition to the fees charged by ARPA Active Over 50s for membership we charge $15 per person or $20 per couple per club year and a door fee of $2. New members are always welcome.

Computer Group enquiries to the Computer Group Coordinator, David 0417 822 560.
