The ARPA Active Over 50s cycling group meets each week for a moderate distance and pace social ride, generally around the city and suburbs. We choose routes along linear parks, the beaches, other bike ways and back roads. There is usually a stop for coffee and duration of rides are between 3 and 4 hours covering 30-50 km. Our aim is to get out, relish the fresh air, improve fitness and enjoy the company. Lycra is optional! Rides start at 10:00am.

Each alternate Wednesday ride is decided on the day. Riders meet at the Torrens Lake Kiosk off War Memorial Drive at 10:00am and then decide a direction. Bike camps and tracks further afield are also occasionally visited. This could include the Barossa, Victor Harbor and the Mawson Trail.
Contact Bob on 0437 911 725 or Phil 0408 841 141 for more details.

The Cycling group have their own website with more information regarding the ride, times, types of bikes, terrain and possible train timetables. Please Click Here
