History Group – History of Adelaide Railway Station

The History of Adelaide Railway Station

Did you enjoy the railway history articles in recent editions of the ARPA news?

If so, you will probably enjoy an illustrated talk to the ARPA History Discussion Group on the history of Adelaide Railway Station from 1856 to the present day. The speaker will be the author of the series of the six ARPA News articles between August/September 2017 and June/July 2018.

The talk takes place at 10.00am on Wednesday, 26 September 2018 at the ARPA office, Level 4, 25 Leigh Street, Adelaide 5000 and will last approximately an hour. All visitors are welcome to this relatively new ARPA group that enjoys researching, discussing and learning about all aspects of Australian and South Australian history. Image B-4599 SLSA.

Come along, experience the story of an important part of Adelaide’s development over 162 years and even wallow in a little nostalgia.
