Our History – SA Railways in the 19 Century

Since South Australia’s first railway was opened in 1854, dozens of lines have been built all over the state. Exclusive to ARPA News, three maps have been created to show all routes in South Australia, together with explanatory tables indicating the gauge, the years in which they were built, extended, gauge-converted and (if applicable) closed.
